UPDATE: Power has been restored to 1229 customers in the Coffs Harbour Jetty area. Services were interrupted for close to an hour while crews from Essential Energy investigated.
A second brief outage occurred around 10:40pm for around 5 minutes.
More than 1200 customers are without power around the Coffs Harbour Jetty area.
Around 9:30pm the area went into darkness while Essential Energy crews investigate.
An area from Harbour Drive, through to near the Coffs Harbour Airport is affected.
It is unknown how long the outage will take to be restored.
