It's not the biggest breakthrough to work out that Malcolm Turnbull is on the nose with many Aussie voters.

The polls have reflected it for months, and many are saying that Deputy Premier John Barilaro is just saying what many believe about the Prime Minister.

While George Brandis is labelling Mr Barilaro's comments as “the dribblings of some obscure politician who nobody outside of NSW has ever heard of”, other Nationals MPs are supporting his words.

Coffs Harbour MP Andrew Fraser said that voters were frustrated with Malcolm Turnbull.

In the Daily Telegraph, he said they "had a history of going with what the electorate was feeling”.

“Malcolm Turnbull doesn’t seem to be engaging with the electorate,” he said.

Mr Fraser was not the only Nationals MP to come out in support.

Clarence MP Chris Gulaptis believes that Mr Barilaro is echoing the views of NSW and "probably the country".

During a press conference, Mr Barilaro conceded his relationship with Mr Turnbull had fallen apart.

Telling reporters in Queanbeyan he said, “My relationship with the Prime Minister is a broken relationship”.
