Crash Claims Life of Mid North Coast Driver

A woman has died after a crash on the Mid North Coast on Monday.

About 8:50am, emergency services were called to Armidale Road, Skillion Flat, west of Kempsey, following reports of a crash.

Officers from Mid North Coast LAC attended and found a Toyota Avensis had rolled at the location.

The driver, a 75 year old woman, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before she was transported to Kempsey Hospital. She later died.

One passenger, a 13 year old girl, was taken to Kempsey Hospital and treated for a broken arm, while another girl aged 17 did not sustain any serious injuries.

Investigations into the crash are continuing with a report being prepared for the Coroner.
