UPDATE:

The Pacific Highway has reopened following a fire that destroyed a horse float carrying more than $150,000 worth of stock for a Central acoast family's saddlery business.

Luckily no horses were in the float.

11:51am:

Southbound lanes of the Pacific Highway are currently closed to all traffic after a horse float caught fire near Woolgoolga.

Just after 11:30am emergency services were called to the highway at Woolgoolga following reports of the blaze.

Diversions are in place with all traffic being diverted onto Solitary Islands Way.

Motorists are advised to take extra time with their journey.
