Man Charged with Cannabis Possession and Intimidation After Approaching Child

A man has been charged, after he was accused of approaching a boy and trying to sell him cannabis in Toormina.

It’s understood that the 12 year old boy was with friends outside a Takeaway shop in Minorca Place around 7pm on Wednesday night, when he was approached by the 31 year old.

According to Police, the man was also saying things that made the child uncomfortable.

He told his parents before police charged the man with cannabis possession, supply and intimidation.

The man's been bailed to appear at Coffs Harbour Court on July 24.
