Seven people have died in the last week in NSW in water related incidents.

The latest drowning has seen a man lose his life after swimming in water on the state’s Central Coast on Tuesday.

Just after 3pm, emergency services were called to swimming baths on Ocean Parade at The Entrance, following reports a man was found unresponsive in the water.

The man was assisted by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.

He has not yet been formally identified and police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

It follows the tragic drowning of a Grafton man on Boxing Day while he attempted to save family members at Wooli Beach.
