Missing Mid North Coast Man Located

A man reported missing from Port Macquarie more than 10 days ago has been located.

Patrick Cowan, 34, was reported missing on Monday 9 October 2017, after he left his home and was not able to be located. The man’s vehicle had been located on a Matthew Flinders Drive unattended.

Officers from Mid North Coast Local Area Command have been conducting extensive searches for the man. Marine Rescue, SES, Police Dog Unit and PolAir also assisted in the search for a number of days.

About 7pm tonight, the man was located at Lighthouse Beach.

According to NSW Police, he has been taken to hospital for assessment.
