Coffs Harbour is set to receive a new NSW Ambulance Station.
Member for Coffs Harbour Andrew Fraser made the announcement on Friday morning.
With population growth in the Coffs Harbour region booming, it means that the current station is now at its highest demand level.
Planning will begin shortly, with the site for the new facility yet to be determined.
According to the Member for Coffs Harbour Andrew Fraser, the new station will be funded under the NSW Government’s Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Configuration program.
The new station will be an improvement on the 16 year old Ambulance station on the Pacific Highway.
Designs for the new facility will involve collaboration with local NSW Ambulance staff.
