Number of Shark Sightings Near Coffs Harbour

Early morning patrols by the Department of Primary Industries Helicopter sighted a number of sharks.

Just after 10:30 a 2.2 metre Great White shark was spotted just off the coastline at Sandy Beach.

Further north, a 3.1 metre Tiger Shark was sighted by aerial crews near the beach at Mullaway.

Accordig to the DPI, no swimmers were at risk in either area.
