The Pacific Highway was closed to traffic overnight following a truck crash in Coffs Harbour.

Crews working through the night into the early hours of the morning to remove a load of onions from the roadway heading northbound near Park Beach Plaza.

The B Double is understood to have lost the load of onions just before 11pm.

Police and Emergency Services were quick on the scene, closing the northbound lanes The onion truck is understood to have lost it's load Southbound lanes of the Pacific Highway in Coffs Harbour are closed following a truck crash near Park Beach Road.

Police and Emergency Services rushed to the scene around 11pm following reports of the crash.

Diversions are in place for southbound traffic using Arthur Street and Hogbin Drive.

According to NSW Ambulance Media, a man in his 40's was transported to the Coffs Harbour Health Campus in a stable condition.
