Operation Hillclimb Underway for World Rally Championship

Police have launched a high-visibility operation for this year’s FIA World Rally Championship, Kennards Hire Rally Australia.

Operation Hillclimb commenced on Thursday, and will continue until Monday 19 November 2018, to ensure the safety and security of competitors, officials, the local community and thousands of spectators expected to attend throughout the event.

General duties officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District and across the Northern Region will be assisted by specialist police from the Traffic & Highway Patrol Command and Licensing Police throughout the operation.
