A 61 year old Kempsey man had his licence suspended for 6 month, and the plates of his Ford Mustang confiscated after being clocked more than twice the limit on the weekend.
About 4:50pm on Saturday afternoon, the man in his 60's was detected doing 102km/h in a sign posted 50km zone on Bloomfield Street at South Kempsey.
Police issued the male driver with a $2435 fine for exceed speed over 45km/h, and a 6 month licence suspension.
The 2018 Ford Mustang won't be going far for a while. The irresponsible actions from the 61 year old man saw officers confiscate the plates of his vehicle for 3 months.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
