Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Coffs Harbour earlier this month.

A man armed with a knife entered the BP service station on Ocean Parade, about 4pm on Sunday 2 July 2017, threatening a staff member demanding money and cigarettes.

The armed man fled the scene with cigarettes and a sum of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

Officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Following inquiries, police would like to speak to a man depicted in a CCTV image, who may be able to assist police with their investigation. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 20s, approximately 175cm tall, and of slim build. 

He is shown in the image wearing a white hat, white undershirt, black hoodie, and black pants.

Police would like to speak to two men, who spoke with the armed man prior to or after the incident.
