A Bushfire has lead Police to close one of two southbound lanes on the Pacific Highway at Clybucca.

Fire crews continue to battle the bushfire near Stuarts Point Road at Clybucca.

According the the RFS, the fire is burning out of control across four hectares.

RFS Inspector Wayne Leader says the fire is burning between the old and new highways, south of the Stuarts Point Overhead.

Eight units have been working on the blaze since around 2pm to bring the fireĀ under control.
