POWER OUTAGE: Customers Without Power in Toormina

More than 1300 customers are in the dark in Toormina.

It's the second time in a number of days that supply has been cut to the area, including Toormina Road, Linden Avenue and Hulberts Road.

Some shops were forced to close their doors at the Toormina Shopping Centre just before 10:30am.

According to Essential Energy, 1303 customers are without electricity supply.

Crews are investigating the issue, with no timeframe know at this stage for restoration of the service.
