Wet weather won't stop Triple M's Moffee who will be walking from Woolgoolga to Sawtell this week.

The breakfast host will kick off his 50K's in 5 Day Walk in Woolgoolga tomorrow morning to raise money for the Children’s Ward at the Coffs Harbour Hospital.

Moffee will broadcast his Breakfast Show from various locations on the Coffs Coast this week, before walking each day pulling a wheelie bin to raise money for vital equipment for the Children’s Ward.

Locals are encouraged to stop by and drop donations into the bin. This year the radio station aims to raise more than $30,000 to secure 4 Specialised Paediatric Cots, as well as a Vital Signs monitor.

On Tuesday morning the Triple M team will be broadcasting from the Seaview Tavern at Woolgoolga, before walking to Moonee Beach. Wednesday from Maggie’s Dog Café at Moonee Beach to Park Beach Plaza. On Thursday, Moffee will walk from the Plaza to Coffs Central via Orlando St and the Jetty down Harbour Drive. Friday from the City Square to the university, before wrapping up the walk on Saturday at McGrath Estate Agents at Sawtell.

Moffee said the support from the local community and local businesses is unbelievable.

“To be able to visit the hospital, and to see the equipment that has been secured over the years thanks to our own community is just amazing, and something to be so proud of”, said Moffee.

Other events taking place for Give Me 5 For Kids this year include a Charity Golf Day on Friday 16 June at Coffs Harbour Golf Club with teams just $120. Also a special Dolphin Marine Magic Show on Saturday 17 June, with tickets just $10 for adults and children.
