The new year has welcomed it's first shark sighting on the Coffs Coast.
Aerial Patrols sighted the 2.2 metre Great White shark around 9:20am this morning near Park Beach.
Meanwhile, twitter user James Pilkington (@the_tropicalist) uploaded this video of a shark this morning while diving near Coffs Harbour.
Hundreds of holiday makers are expected to make their way to our beaches today after New Years festivities overnight.
Swimmers are reminded to only swim on patrolled beaches, between the flags.
