The inaugural Australian Ladies Classic Bonville has wrapped up on the Coffs Coast.

For our international visitors, the koalas made an appearance, while heavy rainfalls and lightning weren't going to stop the tournament from ending.

French golfer Celine Boutier took out the event, after rain and lightning delayed play from around 2pm on Sunday at Bonville Golf Resort.

The 24 year old ended 10 under par, with a final round of 73.

USA’s Katie Burnett followed two shots behind.

At one stage in the afternoon there were concerns that players may have needed to return on Monday morning to complete the tournament, however the skies cleared enough for ground staff to prepare the final holes.

Play resumes at 5:45pm, wrapping up just before last light.

Rebecca Artis was the best of the Aussies in a tie for 7th, with WA local Hannah Green ending the tournament in 9th spot, tied with England’s Charlotte Thompson.

The Bonville Golf Course was on show even after the players had finished, with the Coffs Coast Pipe and Drum Band marching from the top of the hill on the 18th hole, down to the Clubhouse playing songs like Waltzing Matilda and Road to Gundagai.
