Dark storm clouds are rolling in from the west with the Coffs Coast expected to be hit by storms this afternoon.

The Bureau of Meteorology have issued a severe weather warning with the likelihood to produce large hailstones, heavy rainfall and damaging winds.

The new Jetty4Shores was the perfect spot to see the clouds roll in.

The line of storms are expected to stretch from grafton to Kempsey and Wauchope.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning
for LARGE HAILSTONES, HEAVY RAINFALL and DAMAGING WINDS

For people in parts of Northern Rivers, Mid North Coast and Northern Tablelands Forecast Districts.

Issued at 2:56 pm Saturday, 4 November 2017.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones, heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours.

Locations which may be affected include Grafton, Kempsey, Tabulam, Ulmarra, Bellingen, Dorrigo, Ebor, Glenreagh, Wauchope, Comboyne, Wingham and Yarrowitch.
