A stolen blue Ford Falcon station wagon from Erina on the NSW Central Coast yesterday morning was located in North Boambee Valley after a short police pursuit.

It is alleged that the car was involved in a stealing at Nambucca shopping centre, before police sighted the vehicle south of Coffs Harbour

The short pursuit was terminated, however with public information it was located in Highlander Drive, North Boambee Valley.

Police located 2 men, aged 19 and 20, a short distance away. Both were arrested at taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station.

The car was later searched and police located firearm parts, ammunition, stolen property as well as crystal methylamphetamine.

The 19 year old man was charged with Acquire firearm part, possess ammunition, Take & drive conveyance w/o consent of owner, Goods in Custody, Police pursuit, Never licensed person drive vehicle on road, exceed speed > 45 km/h.

The 20 year old was charged with carried in conveyance taken w/o consent, three counts of shoplifting and possess prohibited drug.
Both were refused bail to appear before Coffs Harbour Local Court on 27th May 2017.
