Police have charged two men in Coffs Harbour over intimidation, firearm and drug offences.

On Thursday 23 November 2017 Police commenced an investigation into a personal violence intimidation offence involving an allegation of a rifle.

Ongoing investigations by Coffs Harbour police and Coffs Clarence detectives led police to attend Aubrey Street in Coffs Harbour around midday where they spoke with two men, aged 31 and 21 years old.

Both men were arrested, with the 21 year old man allegedly in possession of a rifle magazine containing .22 calibre rounds and a small amount of crystal methylamphetamine.

Both men were taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station.

At 12.30pm Detectives executed a search warrant at a house in Aubrey Street where they are alleged to have located several further rounds of ammunition as well as a .22 calibre rifle.

The 21 year old man has been charged with Possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority, Not keep firearm safely-not prohibited firearm, Possess unregistered firearm-not proh firearm/pistol and possess prohibited drug and refused bail to Coffs Harbour Local Court on Saturday 25 November 2017.

The 31 year old man was also charged with intimidation and given conditional bail to Coffs Harbour Local Court on the 28 November 2017.
