Two teens have been arrested following a frenzied attack in Coffs Harbour.

On 19 October 2017, police and detectives commenced investigations into an alleged stabbing incident along Stableford Close, Coffs Harbour.

During the incident it is alleged that a 44 year old man was assaulted and stabbed during a frenzied attack involving a 14 year old girl, a 18 year old man and another person.

The teens are alleged to have been avoiding their arrest after Detectives established that they wished to speak with them.

Following extensive enquiries over a number of days, general duties police attended bushland near Emerald Beach just before 10.30pm on Wednesday night, locating the pair at a makeshift camp.

Both were arrested at taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station.

The 14 year old girl was charged with assault and breach of bail. She was refused bail by police due to the risk to the community and continuing further offences, to appear in Coffs Harbour Children's Court today.

The 18 year old man has been charged with breach of bail, common assault, assault actual bodily harm, affray, wounding with intent and bail refused by police due to the serious offences and risk to the community and is due to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court today.

Investigations are continuing.
