Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) on the Coffs Coast today unveiled the new branding of its radio stations with 2CS FM becoming the Coffs Coast’s 106.3 Triple M and Star FM becoming Hit105.5.

From today, the Coffs Coast's 106.3 Triple M will be a member of the second largest radio network in Australia, with 34 Triple M stations across regional and metro centres in Australia.

Joining the Hit Network, Hit105.5 will become part of the largest radio network in Australia with a suite of 43 Hit stations across all corners of Australia.

The changes which are part of SCA’s cohesive rebrand of its stable of regional radio stations is one of Australian media’s biggest brand moves, designed to significantly enhance the value of its brand assets.

General Manager Rod Hockey said, “This is a historic day for Coffs Coast region, being able to unveil the new brands to our listeners and advertisers is very exciting.”

“Both 106.3 Triple M and Hit105.5 will continue to focus on our local area, and what matters to our listeners, we will still bring strong local news, cover local events, and provide our listeners with the best local talent and information – all to a soundtrack our listeners on the Coffs Coast have come to love.”

“Being aligned to the Triple M and Hit brands will now give us access to more competitions, prizes, live events, experiences, and fresh music, features that until now have only being available to listeners in the big cities.”

“Our audiences and our advertisers will be able to identify with brands that are relevant locally, to their region and also nationally.”
