Woman Airlifted to Hospital after Grafton Crash

A single vehicle crash in Grafton has left a woman in hospital on the Gold Coast.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Rushforth Road just after 8:30am on Wednesday morning.
It’s understood the car left the road hitting a pole before stopping next to the fence of the South Grafton High School Oval.
The 49 year old driver was airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition, suffering serious head injuries.
Essential Energy were called in to fix power wires that were knocked down during the incident.
