Woman Caught Over Six Times Legal Limit

In a frightening discovery a woman has been charged with drink driving at over six times the legal limit near Coffs Harbour. 

About 1:30pm on Saturday, police stopped a Honda CRV which was travelling west on Smiths Road at Emerald Beach. 

The 46 year old female driver was subjected to a breath analysis which returned a positive result. 

The woman was taken Coffs Harbour Police Station where she was subject to a breath analysis which allegedly returned a reading of 0.324. 

Police also allege the woman’s drivers licence was disqualified until 2022.

She was charged with high range PCA (second offence) and drive whilst disqualified (second offence), and refused bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on Sunday.
