He’s not called the CMA Entertainer of the Year for no reason, so it should come as no great shock that Garth Brooks has been named the first inductee to the “Live Music Hall of Fame.”

With the legend of country music selling out countless shows all across the United States and taking his tour internationally to fans, Brooks defines what it means to be a touring legend.

“It’s a total shock and quite an honour,” Brooks said. “I don’t think an entertainer is anything without the people who allow him to do this.”

Brooks has walked away the title of CMA Entertainer of the Year a record six times, last year, he swept a seven-show sold-out run at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena – he’s well and truly qualified to be the first inductee to the “Live Music Hall of Fame.”
