Morgan Evans is making a huge impact on the world of country music both overseas and back home in Australia.

Evans latest single ‘Day Drunk’ has been sitting atop the The Music Network (TMN) Country Airplay chart for 14 weeks and peaked at #4 on the latest TMN Hot 100.

It was back in 2009 that a country-pop crossover single reached such heights on the Hot 100 and that achievement goes to Taylor Swift with her mega-popular ‘Love Story’ which peaked at #1, it spent a record 33 weeks at the top of the country chart and is considered one of the defining moments in Swifts amazingly successful pop crossover.

Morgan has just released his debut album “Thing That We Drink To” worldwide, wrapped up a three-date east coast tour of his home country and last week appeared on American TODAY Show – watch below.

Hard work and determination pay off - congrats Morgan!
