Success doesn’t happen overnight, just ask Russell Dickerson.

It was a long road to number for Russell Dickerson and his debut single, “Yours”.

Dickerson first wrote the song four years ago – about the love of his life – his wife.

The hit single was co-written with friends and former classmates Casey Brown and Parker Welling on January 24, 2014 and almost four years to the, on January 22, 2018 the song landed on the top of the charts.

Persistence and belief help lead to the success of “Yours”.  During the four-year journey to get to number one, the song was taken to every record label in town - and was turned down.
