Russell Dickerson is this week celebrating his second consecutive #1 single and RIAA gold certification with his fan-favorite Summer anthem “Blue Tacoma.”

The song was inspired by a sun-drenched road trip with his wife along Southern California’s famed Pacific Coast Highway, and lifted from his full-length debut album “Yours.”

The single has also made its way to the top #1 spot on both the Billboard Country charts and the Mediabase Country Radio charts.

“Blue Tacoma has been such a crazy fun ride. It has been amazing to see it catch fire and go all the way to the top! And not only a no. 1 single but now an RIAA certified GOLD single as well. Now having two number ones in a single year is a dream come true for me! I’m so thankful for all my country radio family and my fans aka the RD Fam for such a huge year,” said the Nashville-based singer/ songwriter.

Dickerson has spent the last three months on the road with Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker on their North American “Summer Plays On” Tour and next up will be supporting Darius Rucker on all European tour dates throughout October.
