It’s a green thumbs up for Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) with 200 native trees to be planted in Clifton as part of National Tree Day.

Toowoomba Regional Council’s Environment and Community portfolio leader, Cr Joe Ramia, is rolling up his sleeves for the big day that enables residents to get involved with the planting.

“Council is committed to keeping our region beautiful and green,” Cr Ramia said. “The Toowoomba region is regarded as one of the most liveable in Australia and it’s no wonder with our stunning gardens and beautiful trees.

People of all gardening abilities are encouraged to come along on the day.
