All safety procedures were adhered to - that’s what a review into a bee stinging incident at the Jondaryan Woolshed on the Easter long weekend indicates.

The report found that everything was handled correctly and the bee attack was just an "act of nature.’

The swarm of bees which were released during a beekeeping demonstration, resulted in a four year old girl being stung 16 times and having to be rushed off to a Toowoomba Hospital.

According to the Woolshed, the bees were more aggressive than usual, attacking several people once freed.
