72 Locals Will Take Part in the Queen’s Baton Relay through Toowoomba
A chance of a lifetime
What an honour – to run with the Queen’s Baton as part of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton Relay, and the honour was bestowed upon 72 deserving locals.
Each baton bearer carries the baton for 250m. The baton this year travels for 388 days across all Commonwealth nations and territories, marking the longest run in its history.
Enclosed in the baton is a message from The Queen for the opening ceremony.
