Alcohol Fuelled Violence in the Southern Downs Has to Stop

The Southern Downs is experiencing an alarming spate of brutal attacks fueled by alcohol.

The violence will no longer be tolerated by police saying that the behavior is potentially life threatening.

Police are determined to put an end to the stupidity before the festive season kicks in, which will see more people on the streets for parties.

The incidents are increasing and there have been some terrible injuries.  One brawl consisted of 50 people, while another saw a woman kicked so hard her leg broke.

Police are sending out a warning if you don’t abide you will be dealt with.
