Benefit For Injured Jockeys Raises $165,000

More than $165,000 was raised at a benefit hosted by the Toowoomba Turf Club on the weekend for two injured jockeys.

Locals turned out on Saturday night to raise money for riders Ben Saunders and Wade Clasohm.

Tragically, both men were left paraplegic after an accident last month and now face a long road to recovery.

The money will be divided evenly between the two men.
