More than $10 million has been made available to grow international visitor numbers to wineries in the Granite Belt.

It's part of a push by the Federal Government to build on the success of places like the Barossa Valley for more wine growing regions across the country.

The grants are available now and part of the Governments $50 million Export and Regional Wine Support Package.

Assistant Agriculture Minister Anne Ruston is encouraging the local industry to find out more about the grants.  Ms Ruston says there are many options as to how the funding can used including things like, a wine event, infrastructure, product, marketing campaigns, that kind of thing.

The package is being administered for “Wine Australia” and any interested parties should contact “Wine Australia”  here: http://bit.ly/2whFxy7 for all relevant information.
