Brace Yourselves - Cold Snap on the Way!

The mercury is expected to drop to a minimum of 5 degrees in Toowoomba this Friday.

A cold snap, and our first taste of Autumn, is on the way.

Meteorologist Chris Joseph’s explains what is happening:

“It looks like this is going to be the first cool burst of the year.  Reason being we have a pretty active trough system that’s going to be pushing through from today and we expect that trough system to arrive on the Darling Downs region by Friday.

You can expect a few showers and the odd storm around as well.”

Winter is on the way.
