Women aged 40 and over are being encouraged to make their health a priority in and book in for a free breast screen.

Health promotion officer Nicola Garrett said the BreastScreen Queensland Toowoomba digital mobile service would be at Gatton Hospital, with access to the service via Hill Street, from 31 July to 30 August.

“We have two digital mobile services which visit locations throughout the Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service, and beyond, on a two yearly cycle,” Ms Garrett said.

“If you’re a woman aged 40 and over, and you’ve been planning to have your first breast screen, or are due for a two-yearly screen, call today on 13 20 50 to book an appointment.

Making an appointment is easier than ever with bookings now available online.
