During their trip to Toowoomba, the Brisbane Broncos generously gave of their time to visit residents at rehabilitation service Sunrise Way, along with assisting raise some much needed funds for the facility. 

Sunrise Way CEO Wendy Agar said she couldn’t thank the team enough.

“The visit was a great opportunity to show some of the Broncos players our facility, and talk to them about how Sunrise Way are helping people living with addiction rebuild their lives,” she said.

“The players sat down with the residents and had the opportunity to hear their stories.”

 Peter and Joanne Cox enjoyed having dinner with the Broncos at The Office on Thursday night with funds raised going to support essential services at Sunrise Way. 

 

Sunrise Way is a 20-bed not-for-profit rehabilitation service that facilitates a 26 week program.  The goal of the program is to enable clients to understand their addiction, manage their mental health, develop skills and strategies to maintain sobriety, and rebuild their lives.

The Broncos play the Titans in a pre-season trial match in Toowoomba tomorrow.
