Chemical Leak in Warwick sees Full Evacuation of Staff

A chemical leak in Warwick this morning saw employees evacuated from the Grove Juice plant.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were all called out around 7:45am after a strong smell of ammonia was reported at the site.

Employees were quickly evacuated and Kenilworth Street was sealed off to all traffic – the road remained closed for several hours until the scene was declared safe to enter again.
