The YellowBridge Christmas elves will pack 300 yellow bucket hampers tomorrow so they can be delivered in time for Christmas Day.

Dubbed ‘buckets of joy’, they will then be gifted to local people who are known to be in most need including people with a disability, single parents and older people without family.

The buckets will be filled by 20 busy elves with gourmet Christmas food that has been donated by YellowBridge staff, partners and community, with the help from major sponsor McConachie Stedman.

YellowBridge QLD chief executive Penny Hamilton:

“With the help of YellowBridge’s friends, supporters and the community, we hope to add beautiful Christmas fare to 300 dining tables this year.”

Christmas elves will be joined on the day by Councillors Paul Antonio, Carol Taylor, Anne Glasheen, Nancy Sommerfield and Geoff McDonald to help pack some Christmas hampers including the special Mayor’s Bucket.
