Toowoomba Regional Council will be considering all submissions for the proposed Draft Highfields Cultural Precinct Master Plan at Council’s next Ordinary meeting on Tuesday 18 July from 10 am.

Toowoomba Regional Council Mayor, Paul Antonio, believes it is important TRC reviews all submissions as a priority.

“We greatly appreciate and acknowledge the feedback from the community regarding the Draft Highfields Cultural Precinct Master Plan.

“We understand there has been a lot of public interest and discussion around the proposed plan and Council is committed to providing clarity and a clear outcome for the community.

“Council will be considering all 270 online and 300 email submissions at TRC’s Ordinary meeting on Tuesday,” Mayor Antonio said.

“We are contacting every resident who provided details as part of the consultation period and have given them the opportunity to attend our Ordinary meeting to see Council’s commitment to addressing community feedback,” Mayor Antonio said.

The meeting will be held in the Burstow Room on the first floor of City Hall and members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting on Tuesday 18 July from 10 am.
