A new dairy proposal could see Darling Downs milk exported to China for up to $19 a litre.

The Toowoomba Integrated Milk Project which has plans to be built alongside Wellcamp Airport could open the door to export Darling Downs milk to Asia.

Project Manager Lapro says the project has the potential to see two jumbo jets full of fresh Darling Downs milk, up to 300,000 litres, flown to China on a daily basis.

Queensland Dairy Farmers Organisation State President Brian Tessman has backed the Toowoomba Integrated Milk Project.
