As a result of information from the community in relation to speeding, careless driving, traffic incidents and general driver inattention, police from the Darling Downs District and Road Policing Command have conducted various forms or traffic enforcement in Arabian Street, Harristown.

Since 1 July 2018, in excess of 70 motorists have been issued infringement notices for exceeding the speed limit on Arabian Street with a highest recorded speed of 87 kilometers per hour.

Toowoomba police will continue to perform active patrols of the area and are urging motorists to observe speed limits and for all road users to adhere to the road rules.
