Fire bans have been lifted across the Lockyer Valley following the rain over the long weekend
Authorities last week announced the ban when the region experienced higher than normal temperatures together with dry conditions
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services Director of Rural Operations James Haig says the rainfall has eased conditions but we still need to be aware of dangers.
He says while the restrictions on permits has been lifted it's important we still talk with local fire wardens to ensure all safety requirements are met.
