Former Partner of Rick Maddison Blames Herself for Death of Police Officer

The former partner of Rick Maddison blames herself for the death of Senior Constable Brett Forte.

The woman spoke with Seven Network's Sunday Night program telling them she felt partly to blame for the rampage that led to the death of the officer.

During the interview she used the fake name of Sarah and disguise.  She told how she was counselled through the separation from Maddison by domestic violence liaison officer Senior Constable Susan Forte.

Maddison shot Senior Constable Brett Forte in May resulting in his death.
