Most locals in the Groom eletorate voted NO in the Same Sex Marriage postal vote survey.

The much anticipated result was revealed this morning with Australia voting a clear YES for the Same Sex Marriage law.

Groom was one of three Federal seats in the State where most were opposed to the proposed law, Maranoa and Kennedy were the other two seats.

50.8% of Groom residents chose to tick the NO vote on their postal forms while 49.2% voted YES.
