A pilot had to make a forced landing of his light aircraft in the Lockyer Valley yesterday morning.

The incident happened around 7:45AM, landing in paddock on Prince Road, Gatton.

Engine failure is believed to have been the reason behind forced landing. 

The plane was largely undamaged while the male pilot escaped uninjured.
