Lucky Escape for Truck Driver after Trailer Catches Fire

The trailer of a B-Double caught fire in Torrington early this morning.

Fire, Ambulance and Police were called to the Toowoomba-Cecil Plains Road around 1:46AM this morning after the incident was reported.

Damage from the fire was contained to the trailer after the driver uncoupled it from the truck.

Two ambulance crews were called out to the scene with police closed off the road temporarily while crews responded to the fire.

No one was injured.
