The case against Toowoomba man Jameson Nathan Boon for allegedly killing his work colleague in 2013 has been adjourned.

He's accused of dangerously operating a vehicle, which is believed to have caused the death of Toowoomba man Simon Poxon.

They were both working for Sherrin Rentals when Mr Poxon was pinned between the truck and a knuckle boom at the Torrington worksite.

Mr Boon will remain in custody, with his bail increased by the Magistrate.
