Man Charged with Multiple Offences

A 28-year-old Woodridge man has been charged with multiple offences after he caused major traffic chaos on the Toowoomba Range yesterday afternoon.

He has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving a motor vehicle without a licence and drug driving.

Police will allege, the car the man was driving, rear-ended one vehicle and sideswiped another before it was involved in a three-vehicle crash near the corner of Tourist Rd around 4.35pm on Sunday.

As a result of the accident five people were taken to hospital, including one man who had to be cut free from his vehicle.

The man will appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on May 26.
